Embu for the Emperor’s birthday 2024

February 29 the Japanese consulate celebrated the emperor’s birthday. The Japanese consulate invited Shobukan Dojo to join the celebration of the Japanese emperor’s birthday as a long-standing member of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association. Shobukan Dojo performed a Katori Shinto Ryu Kenjutsu demonstration for the Japanese Consulate in Hochiminh City as an opening to the event. We thank General Consul Ono Masuo for the opportunity to perform a demonstration of iai jutsu, kenjutsu and naginata jutsu. We are grateful for the Consulate’s many years of support to the Vietnamese nationals and non- Vietnamese who train at Shobukan Dojo.
