The souls of the dead are about to pour into the world of the living, and evil entities will begin to wander the streets, creaking floorboards in houses, making noise in attics and basements, lurking in the shadows and forest thickets. There is almost no holiness left in these parts, and therefore otherworldly forces will gain power that they never even dreamed of. And it is unlikely that you will be able to buy them off with sweets or licorice. This means that the good old witch will have more work.
