He is a founder member of The Gesualdo Six and has also sung for several other groups including Alamire, Polyphony and Tenebrae. Joseph is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists and a recipient of the Limpus prize. Before pursuing his freelance career further afield, Joseph spent two years as Assistant Director of Music at Truro Cathedral. Prior to this Joseph was Assistant Organist of St John’s College, Cambridge, having been its Herbert Howells Organ Scholar. Joseph’s founded his own chamber choir The Beaufort Singers which is now resident at the annual Boxgrove Choral Festival founded by Joseph in 2018.
