Baltimore police officer resigns after being filmed beating man

A police officer in Baltimore has quit after footage surfaced of him repeatedly hitting a man. A second officer has been placed on administrative duties pending the outcome of an investigation. The man who was repeatedly struck by the officer was taken to hospital for treatment.
