Solid Aluminum Baseball Bat Cast | Legit Demolishing Tool

After setting up my 1912 wood lathe I had to make something with it. So, here we go! Possibly one of the most unneccesary things I ever made. I’m not a baseball expert by any mean, but I feel pretty safe to say this makes no sense. It’s so HEAVY! Much more suited for demolishing I think. And let me tell you, it’s good fun! I wanted to try making a wood pattern on the lathe since I saw this video: by “FarmCraft101“ And I can confirm this technique works very well. I think it’s a very interesting process, and I hope you do as well! The casting ended up having a little depression on the top side (relative to how I pour the aluminum) as the cooling molten aluminum shrinks a lot specially with a big cross section like we have here.
