BelKA (abbreviation of belor. Belaruski kasmichny aparat - Belarusian Spacecraft) is a Belarusian spacecraft for remote sensing of the Earth, created by the Russian enterprise RSC Energia on the basis of the universal space platform Victoria by order of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The first launch took place on July 26, 2006 at Baikonur and was unsuccessful due to the accident of the Dnepr launch vehicle.
