Boy wonder defenseman Orr, who scored the Cup winner in overtime and claimed every postseason award in sight, couldn’t have done it without such great players, and characters, as high-scoring slot monster Phil Esposito, sweepchecking swashbuckler Derek Sanderson, wandering and clutch goalie Gerry Cheevers, and the rest. Their one-for-all, all-for-one attitude shines through in these highlights, especially the brawls. And the fans loved them, making sure to have the tin foil positioned just-so on the rabbit ears of their TVs so they could get the games on TV-38.
