Scuffles break out at Eid in the Park in Manchester

Eid in the Park was due to take place on the large Platt Fields Park in Fallowfield to mark the beginning of Aid Al Fitr following the end of Ramadan. The event’s start is dictated by the first sighting of the new moon and is traditionally celebrated with social gatherings and prayers over a two day period.
