Kerkuane--the world’s most intact Carthage ruins

Kerkuane is an ancient Tunisian city located on the northeastern province of Nabeul. This over 2,000-year-old site is the most intact Carthage site in the world. The city was listed on the World Heritage List in 1985 due to its importance for studying the lives and urban layout of the Carthage era .
