Horizontal ridge augmentation using titanium mesh and rhBMP-2

In this patient, horizontal bone augmentation and simultaneous implant placement were performed on the left posterior mandibular ridge. The Ridge width was only 2~3 mm. Horizontal ridge augmentation was performed using rhBMP-2, allograft, alloplast, and Ti-mesh. rhBMP-2 allows increasing osteoinduction in graft material and it can promote rapid new bone formation. Astra EV Implants were placed simultaneously. Uncovering surgery and final restoration were provided after 10 weeks and 14 weeks.
