Israel’s Justice Ministry is considering establishing a dedicated court to hear war crimes committed by Hamas on its deadly October 7 assault. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Israeli PM Netanyahu and the war cabinet at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv on November 3. Israeli media said Blinken was shown some of the footage it has compiled, including from Hamas bodycams, of the atrocities on October 7. Meanwhile, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said that Iran is urging its proxies to divert Israel from fighting in Gaza. The UN human rights office has said the situation in the West Bank is “alarming“.
