Jan Burres visits Bus 142

Jan Burres, Chris McCandless’s friend from “the Slab“ in southern California, visited Bus 142 in March 2011 with McCandless’s parents, Walt and Billie. The trip, guided by Fairbanks adventurer and good guy Ed Plumb, was a gift from Walt and Billie to their friends who helped with the book of Chris’s photos, Back to the Wild.
