The Three Laws of Robotics

Science fiction author and futurist Isaac Asimov proposed these three laws of robotics in a 1942 short story entitled “Runaround“. However, some experts question whether these laws will protect humanity from machines that may soon be capable of reprogramming themselves and placing their own existence above the well-being, or even survival, of their human creators.
