Heading to Wales for the first time in 15 years, round six of the 2024 Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship was one for the records! Topping the timesheets on day one at his home GP, Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team’s Steve Holcombe enjoyed his victory in front of thousands of passionate British fans. Day two belonged to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia, however, who battled with Beta Factory Racing’s Brad Freeman all day, but eventually stole the win from the Brit on the final test to finish with a margin of seconds. The first 2024 world champions were crowned in Wales, with GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona taking the Enduro2 championship title with one round to spare. After a win on day two, Manuel Verzeroli was crowned 2024 FIM Enduro Youth World Champion. In the Women’s Enduro World Championship, it was Mireia Badia who took the win both days to extend her championship lead. As for the GALFER FIM Junior Enduro World Championship, Aussie wildcard Gus Riordan came out swinging to top not only the AKRAPOVIC Super Test on Friday night, but also day one in the Junior category.
