LOM mikroUsi VS Clippy EM272

In this video I want to share with you some A-B listening between the LOM mikroUsi Pro and the Clippy EM272, from micbooster. I am using the Zoom F6 field recorder, recording at 96kHz and 32 bit floating point, I mounted the microphones side by side on a studio mic stand, attached to a metal bar, to space the Left and Right channels about 38cm. All the preamps have the exact same settings, so that later, when we will take a deeper look to the audio files with iZotope RX, we can have the same starting point as reference. We will listen to some sounds in the studio and then we will move out to record a little bit in the forest as well. The recordings are RAW unprocessed files coming straight from the recorder, no EQ, no Compression, nothing. The mikroUsi is a little louder by itself. In the video they are level matched to compensate that (simply by subtracting 2dB to the mikroUsi’s track). Also the parts where they are mixed together, I lowered the volume of the sum of 6dB, to not be tricked
