Texturing with Illustrator files in Substance Painter
In this video I’m talking about the amazing news that vector graphic files (both .svg and .ai) can be imported like regular images inside Substance 3D Painter. With a couple of tricks you can quickly texture any 3D model and it’s specially useful when working with product labels. It’s really useful for everyone in game design and product design as well. In this exercise we are using a 3D model from Substance 3D Assets. At the end I’m showing you how to send your textured models to After Effects.
