The band’s wide repertoire contains many self-written blues songs in which you will also detect influences from other genres like rock ‘n’ roll, funk, jazz and reggae. Additionally, the band plays some covers from musicians like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Bluesstruck has been playing in several bars and at many events since their formation in 2017. Highlights were the Bluesroutes in Zeeland, Grolloo and Bobpop festival where they shared the stage with their local musical hero Jan de Bruijn. In the fall off 2023 the band presents their first EP called Damned, which consists of four original self-written blues songs. Bluesstruck: struck by blues! 🎧 Don’s Tunes is about the music.
