This video is Exavier Wardlaw’s blast from the past video of Squatters on East 13th Street, in the East Village, New York City around 1995 singing their songs, reading their poetry, making their art, working on what used to be their buildings etc; before the wave of gentrification set in. This video is also an attempt to combine two of Exavier’s full length videos into one shorter version, and half way through this video, some parts of the sound may not sync up with the picture.
