Вуппертальский Швебенан - Wuppertal Schwebebahn

A look at the Wuppertal Schwebebahn, the unique suspension monorail opened in 1901. This video is taken on the Eastern end of the line, which runs above the river through the Barmen district of Wuppertal. We start at the terminus at Oberbarmen, work our way along the line to the stop at Adler Brucke, then return to our starting point of Oberbarmen. 29th June 2010.
