Huge Tank Train With New Rebuilt DPU, DPU Chase, Molten Metal Railroad Cars, Russell Kentucky CSX RR

Long tank car train with DPU shoving on the rear. Molten metal railroad cars and flange greasers. Ancient Chesapeake And Ohio Railway signal still in use. This train stuff is in Russell, Kentucky. The huge tank car train has a spotless newly painted and rebuilt Distributed Power Unit shoving on the rear. I chased the DPU and filmed it pushing the train again at AK Steel in Russell, Kentucky. That’s where the molten metal cars are sitting and where the old C&O signal is still in use. AK Steal shut this plant down and its going to be torn down. Also check out the old train station in Russell, the yard tower, the caboose and the blue water. There is all kinds of cool train stuff here and today the railroad is owned by CSX.
