Postcard from Fevik, Norway: 22 July, 2021. Valseana by Sergio Assad

One of the braces came lose on my guitar creating a horrible buzzing sound. Simen Omang, a guitar builder living on an island off the Oslo fjord, fixed the problem and today is the first chance in many months where I can play without worrying. First thought was to try Valseana by Sergio Assad - a beautiful ballade from his suite “Aquarelle“. My daughter sneaks into the room and helps me find my way to the end of the tune. Beautiful days here in Fevik, Norway.
