DuckTales Soundtrack: Race Day

Title: Race Day Series: DuckTales Composer: Ron Jones Year: 1987 Length: 1:14 This orchestral music cue plays in a few select episodes. As the name implies, it mainly plays during scenes where a race is taking place, or something of similar fashion is going on. This first played during the race scene in S1E9, “Armstrong“, when Launchpad is racing against Armstrong. Judging by the sound of this cue, and the fact that it was used the very first time on this episode, it is very likely that this specific cue was composed for this episode and then later re-used a few odd times. This is the first full version of the track to have been posted on YouTube. Other versions have been posted, but they were either extended, or had the “barn gets destroyed“ moment taken out. Here, it is presented in original form.
