Sara Tavares (English v.)

Sara Tavares joins the new generation of Cape Verdean singers, following Cesária Évora’s wake. Born in Lisbon, this young singer, composer and guitarist claims her roots, while evolving at the crossroads between Europe and Africa. Cape Verdian guitars, Angolan rhythms, Portuguese songs and intimate and funky soul are at the rendezvous.
