Ryuji Sasai’s hard rocking style is evident in several songs on this soundtrack, the year right after this game he joined Square fulltime and overall went on to a pretty amazing achievements in his career: Xak, Fray, Xak II, FF Legend 3, FF Mystic Quest, Rudra no Hihou, Tobal no 1, Bushido Blade 2. He was also the bassist in a popular Queen tribute band. Much less is known about R Kikukawa, with even some Japanese forums trying to find more information about them. Impressions of the game from a Japanese blog: “It was obviously influenced by Xak/Ys games, it is an incredibly minor game yet quite enjoyable. The balance was pretty tight for this type of game, and it was challenging. Like Ys, if you don’t reach the appropriate level, you can’t even make a dent in enemies.
