This is a stunning rendition of Medora’s aria “Non so le tetre immagini“ from Verdi’s Il Corsaro, with the great Romanian soprano Roxana Briban recorded in 2001 at Hariclea Darclee Festival in Braila, when she received the great prize. Roxana was one of the most beautiful voices ever, with an unique and distinctive tragically past away last aria is dedicated to her memory and it is one the most beautiful interpretations that she gave in her short but intense she rest in peace!!!
