Dylan Thomas’ plea to his dying father to resist the imperative of death .... In truth the sentiments expressed so sublimely in this poem are pretty familiar to myself at this time of my life. I am conscious of how age has intruded in terms of limiting the energy needed to move my acting career forward - I returned to the business some years back after a substantial time out and forgotten by all. To all intents and purposes having to start again - I now found the energy necessary to resuscitate my career
