Founding member of the band Chic together with Nile Rodgers. Born 31 October 1952 Greenville, North Carolina- Died 18 April 1996 of pneumonia in Japan after a reunion concert “Chic Live at the Budokan“ for Japanese TV to celebrate Nile Rodgers’ work as a producer.
