Onóir - ’Mad World’ feat. Tara Howley

Our 4th song for Onóir, Mad World originally released by Tears For Fears in 1983 and brought back into the spotlight by Gary Jules in 2001. We are also thrilled to be joined on this song by the outstanding, and immensely talented Tara Howley from County Clare. Tara’s inspirational playing has taken this track to an entirely new place, breathing new life into a song that we hope you all love. Lyrics: All around me are familiar faces Worn out places, worn out faces Bright and early for the daily races Going nowhere, going nowhere Their tears are filling up their glasses No expression, no expression Hide my head, I wanna drown my sorrow No tomorrow, no tomorrow And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I’m dying Are the best I’ve ever had I find it hard to tell you I find it hard to take When people run in circles it’s a very, very Mad world, mad world Children waiting for the day they feel good
