For the past two years, Thales’ SeaFire radar is undergoing a substantial number of land-based tests, mobilizing a vast panel of resources and combined teams from the DGA, Thales and Naval Group. These tests are taking place at the Shore Integration Facility (SIF) on the DGA’s SESDA site in Saint-Mandrier, near Toulon naval base in the South of France. ===================== The SeaFire is the next generation radar of the future FDI frigates of the French and Hellenic navies.
