Eduardo “Lalo“ Guerrero was a Mexican-American guitarist, singer, and farm labor activist best known for his strong influence on today’s Latin musical artists. He is widely considered “The Father of Chicano Music“. Guerrero originally recorded this song in 1956 on L&M Records. This is the 1969 version recorded on Cap Latino Records.
