Barrel Fest At Epic Lakey Peak - Surfing Sumbawa, July 27th 2020

Lakey Peak located on the island of Sumbawa is one of the most well known and perfect A-Frames in Indonesia. It can definitely be fickle at this time of year with trade winds usually blowing hard and cross shore by mid-morning. However, all the elements came together a few days ago producing some of the most flawless waves we’ve seen so far this season. Local rippers Oney Anwar, Dedi Gun, and a handful of others really took advantage of the uncrowded conditions and traded barrel after barrel until the tide pushed in fattening things up. Unfortunately the surf was blown out for the last few days of our trip there, so we were unable to film any other sessions.
