Krzysztof Olczak | composer | Paweł Zagańczyk | accordion | PUBLISHER: The album was recorded in a concert hall in Gdansk Academy of Music. Mastering engineer: Cezary Joczyn Patronage album: City of Gdańsk Press: What do Eric Satie, Igor Stravinsky and Gerhar Stäbler have in common? All of them composed at least one tango. Paweł Zagańczyk set out on an artistic journey to find the traces of tango in the compositions of the 20th century. His journey turned out to be an interesting discovery, which is presented on the following album. Tango was merely known in the first half of the 20th century. However, thanks to Astor Piazzola’s works, tango started to interest many composers. Every track on this album is wonderfully diverse and it reminds us that tango is all about passion, in the presence of which nobody can stay indifferent. Paweł Zagańczyk invites everybody to tango.
