Ariel Rosenberg - The Nile Pan (Full Tape, 1996)

So here it fucking is. After about 4 years of searching I’ve finally got it, Ariel Pink’s debut tape and WOW it’s wacky! You can really see the trademark HG sound coming together in tracks like The Nile Pan and The Date, but it’s all so different. It contains a 30 minute movement called Funeral In An Aircraft for one. Very hi-fi for such an early recording, too! (by the way, that’s not the official artwork, there is none). Oh also apparently the last two tracks are bonus tracks that were recorded after this tape, probably 96-97 if I had to guess. 0:00 The Nile Pan 6:46 Rufus 12:19 The Date 16:39 Would You Ever 19:00 Sand 21:26 Nile Pan at 45 23:07 Walk On By 24:18 Raga 35:08 Rufus part 5 37:48 The Wind 40:07 Waiting 41:23 Cabaret Voltaire 43:03 Funeral In An Aircraft 1:12:14 Denver Polyphonic 1:15:16 First Day Of College 1:19:10 Autotron 1:23:03 Autotron 75 Enjoy!
