This acoustic version uses a basic fingerstyle guitar technique. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd fingers play exactly the same pattern while the thumb plays a simple bass line part. The guitar tabs are also included. I play the introduction slightly differently to the way I do it on the singalong version (). The basic pattern is the same but the thumb is playing the 4th, 5th and then 6th string over the Em / E minor guitar chord before going into the verse.
