Feisty snake needs rescuing from garden netting!

At this time of year, entanglements are one of the most common calls we get here at the centre. This beautiful grass snake, one of three species we have here in the UK, arrived with us tangled in garden fruit netting. Luckily, our vet team were able to quickly cut the reptile free, but the netting had left its mark and the snake needed a little R&R before returning to the wild.
