In the aftermath of this video, Twitter fingers started barking on Reddit. They said I need to chill with the titles, taking an opportunity for personal shots which discredit my efforts. The only problem is, they don’t know what they’re talking about, plus I’m smarter than them. Here’s my response to what was said:
Eveyone within this thread needs to seriously relax. I wouldn’t run with random titles, my titles are based on opinions which are backed by thought out interpretations. I’m entitled to my own opinions. An exaggerated title is far different from a fabricated one. Using a slightly exaggerated title brings greater awareness to a culture that everyone on this Sub Reddit is supposed to support. Shining a light on Grime and taking classic jams to new audiences can only be a good thing. The title reflects my view of how Ghett’s performance here solidified his status in the Grime Scene as unfuckwiddable... The title seems more clickbait than it really is. These were Ghett’s first vocals after Scruffizzer dissed him on ’I Don’t Believe You.’ That was a big tune, Scru was gunning Ghetts with every bar, remixed his flows and more. In response, Ghetts went on this set and blacked out... That was a statement to the Grime scene, addressing everybody like NO ONE can fuck with me... most aggression, most lyrics, most wordplay, versatility to change up his flows/cadences... He’s saying forget Scrufizzer, this goes for everyone... Now onto what hendrixnash said about ’forever reposting owned content’. I never repost owned content, if you know anything about the original Ghetts Rinse FM video, you’d realise my version includes arguably some of the most impactful bars from the set, based on my own opinion. Not only that, but my main focus was to include more reactions to bars and less cutaways than the ’Ghetts (Scrufizzer Don’t Want This) video. TBH most people (including myself) rarely considered the original set until the Scrufizzer Don’t Want This video came out... Did the guy who put this together repost old content with a jarring title? No, he took the music to a wider audience, and brought value in doing so. That should be applauded. The version I’ve put together is higher quality than the Scrufizzer Don’t Want This video, plus offers the other man dem’s highlights from the set. What if my title and edited version of the video introduces new fans to Grime artists like So Large and Rival? You guys are commenting and reacting based on your emotions, rather than using rational logic judgment.
