Brighter Golf! (1932)

Introductory intertitle reads: “Lots of ways of handicapping your opponent are suggested by this film of George Ashdown, England’s Golfing “William Tell“ and Miss Elvira Henderson, the star of “Below the Surface.“ All you need is a nice, juicy lemon ’tee’.“ George and Elvira stand together on a golf course. It looks like rather a cold wintery day. Elvira places a golf ball on the ground using a lemon as a tee. She tells George that if he misses the shot he will have to eat the lemon. He takes a shot and hits it fine. Another view of George about to take a shot. C/U of the golf ball balancing on the lemon. L/S of George taking the shot. This time he hits the lemon by mistake. Elvira laughs. She hands him a lemon then we see him taking a bite in C/U. He makes a face and Elvira laughs at him. “For variety, make your opponent drive off his watch - “ George places his pocket watch on the grass, puts a little piece of earth on top of it then places the golf ball on top. M/S of him taking a shot
