지애 (jiae)-Love is Love

노래에 무엇을 담아야 할지에 대해서 고민을 굉장히 많이 했다. 뭔가 누구도 본 적 없는 새로운 것이었으면 하면서도 누구나 공감할 수 있는 것들이 담겼으면 했다. 무엇보다 있는 그대로의 솔직함을 담아내는 것이 가장 중요하다 생각했고, 인생을 살면서 했던 다양함 경험과 감정들을 여러 장르의 음악에 하나씩 풀어 놨다. 양성애자라는 것의 포커스를 두려고 또는 두지 않으려고 하지도 않았고, 논리적인 관점보다는 그냥 느껴지는 감정을 담아 놨기에 앨범 제목 역시 LOVE is LOVE 그냥 사랑을 느껴서 사랑을 할 뿐 그것이 옳은 사랑이고 틀린 사랑이고의 중점은 없다. 노래의 장르는 왠지 힙합이라 불릴 것 같지만 사실상 그런 의도를 가지지는 않았다. 내가 생각하는데로 자유롭게 머리속의 있는 멜로디를 꺼내려 했고 가사도 하고 싶은 말들을 적었다. 최대한 새로운 것을 해보려는 노력을 했고 라틴 리듬에 트랩 멜로디를 섞는다든지, 락 기타에 808 베이스를 섞는다든지 최대한 서로 안 섞여 봤던 장르를 조합해 보려 했다. 이번 앨범을 계기로 앞으로도 더욱 새로운 것을 표현하는 아티스트가 되어서 나와 같은 사람들에게 공감과 위로를 해주고 싶다.
