임을 위한 행진곡 (Marching For Our Beloved) - Korean Uprising Song

I’ve made a video on this song a long time ago but now looking back at it, it looks really shit, the cover, subtitling, it was all shit. So I decided to remake it now but with a different recording of the song which has audio in the beginning which I can’t remove so I just left it like that. I’ve been struggling to find someone who can translate Korean. After an interaction with Imperior平和 on Discord who also attempted to translate it, I decided to look for a translation myself again. I typed the name of the song and also typed “English translation“ in Korean (Help from Google Translate, of course) and load and behold, I found a English translation of it. Apparently there is an official English translation done by someone else and not the original composer or Lyricist. I find the Translation to seem odd, kind-of doesn’t make any sense but it’s apparently official I already talked about what this song is based off of but I’ll copy and paste it none-the-less: “If you do not know what this song is, then it’s a song that is about the Gwangju Uprising in Korea in 1980 after the assassination of Former leader Park Chung-Hee, killed by his best friend. The dictatorship continued after Park Chung-Hee was assassinated and the people in the city of Gwangju protested for Democracy to be instated in Korea once and for all, it ended up resulting in a Massacre and the people revolted and drove out the government presence in Gwangju and hold out the city for 9 days (May 18, 1980 – May 27, 1980) before being recaptured by the Government.
