Ayita Dance is a small wheelchair dance class for children I started earlier this year. Ayita is a Cherokee name meaning “first to dance“. I was inspired to start this class by my daughter Mayli who was born with spina bifida and is paralyzed from the waist down. She has always loved to dance, if she hears a beat she’s dancing, she is also Cherokee
