Minuit Chretien Richard Verreau

Richard Verreau was a French Canadian Tenor born in Chateau-Richer, near Québec City He began singing as a child in a church choir. Verreau was praised for the velvety quality and power of his voice, Unfortunately, an unsuccessful throat surgery ended his career in 1977. In 1998, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada. In 2000, he was made an Officer of the National Order of . Verreau passed away in 2005 at the age of 79. This is beautiful rendition of Minuit Chretien (O Holy Night) is a testimony to the rich quality of his voice.
