Prospekt Stachek (Strikes Avenue) is the street in Kirovsky district of St Petersburg, Russia. It based on a former Peterhoff road which starts with Narva Triumphal Arch.
It goes through Putilov Plant (Kirov Plant), one of the largest and most significant plants in St Petersburg, founded in 1801.
On the 9th of January, 1905, 150,000 workers of Putilov plant managed a strike and moved from the Plant to Palace Square and Winter Palace to declare a protest to the Russian Emperor Nicholas The II.
