Engravers Library, Issue 4-- How to engraving books
We take a look at the How to Engraving books in the fields unrelated to jewelry work.
First we cover the ubiquitous The Art of Engraving, by James B. Meek, first published by Brownells in 1973. Next we cover the Neil Hartliep book, the Basics of Firearms Engraving, published by the NRA in 1985. Last we look into the many pages of the John Schippers book Historical Firearms Engraving published in 2013. We also make a “small” mention of the Jim Small book How to Make Knives that has a small engraving section in it.
