Some see the Dodge WC-51 as an unglamorous general service truck, but the vehicle could carry half a ton of kit, and was easy to drive and maintain. The W and C are Dodge model codes: W stands for 1941 and the C for a half-ton payload rating, although ‘WC’ continued in use after 1941 and was used for some larger vehicles. This WC-51 was built in Detroit, Michigan, and was on display at the Tanks, Trucks and Firepower show in August 2023.
