Pigment Spotlight: Manganese Blue Genuine PB33

--------------READ-------ME------------- This is a spotlight on the watercolour Mangenese Blue. Managanese Blue Genuine PB33 is a pigment that is no longer in production and is running out in supply. Here I test all the Manganese still availible on the market and compare it to my own handmade Manganese blue and a Managanese Blue Hue which is supposed to immitate the pigment. What I tested: Old Holland Manganese Blue PB33 Old Holland Manganese Blue Deep PB33 - PV16 Wallace Seymour Manganese Blue PB33 My Handmade Manganese Blue PB33 Winsor & Newton Manganese Blue Hue PB15 Update: The Wallace Seymour MB has dried but not very well its very cracked with holes in. Im guessing there are some binder issues with this paint. Avoid. I’ve been looking into substitutes I feel the best way to immitate it would be to use a mix of cobalt blue with either cerulean or pthalo blue.
