He used his impeccably timed teep to set up many of his knockout punches, in particular, his lead jab-rear uppercut combination which became a trademark technique. Anantasak won the Junior Featherweight (122 lbs) WMC title, the Siam Boxing Stadium ISUZU tournament, and the Sports Writers Fighter of the Year Award 1997.
