It started off purely as a ship edit but then the lyrics were just so Anne centric that the edit started becoming more focused on her journey. She couldn’t pretend to be someone she wasn’t or love men for the sake of society and that was in the 1800s like i canny believe she was a real woman, holy shit was she fucking inspirational. but anyways yes so this edit is mostly a dedication to her and how she lived her life even when she kept getting hurt for it and then of course I had to add in her happy ending with love in finding Ann because they are beautiful and it’s the kind of love they both deserve. rant over i’m sorry i just love Anne and also Ann as well as their relationship and just the whole show okay sjsjsjsjs song: can’t pretend by Tom Odell show: gentleman jack
