This is the original recording of the Kathy Valentine-penned “We Don’t Get Along“ which the Go-Go’s would later record for their second studio album “Vacation“ in 1982. Despite being recorded first, this version would be the third released version of the tune as it had been initially given to friend (and future member of the Textones) Phil Seymour for his 1980 Boardwalk Records debut album, and then recorded by The Go-Go’s for their second studio album “Vacation“ in 1982. This version, with Valentine on lead vocals herself, would not be released until many years later on a Textones retrospective.
