Blind Test: 90s Techno / 303 Edition - Episode 30 (Electronic Beats TV)

For thirtieth episode of possibly our most popular series to date, Blind Test, we once again return to explore the world of 90s Techno but this time with a twist, bringing you the ‘303 Edition’. As the name would suggest we focus on the many records of this era influenced by the squelchy, sequenced sounds produced by Roland’s iconic box, the TB-303 designed by Tadao Kikumoto who also created the 909 drum machine. Joining us on this acid frenzied sonic excursion is Don’t, Super Rhythm Trax & Fat Hop label boss and Kool FM radio host Jerome Hill, Dutch Delsin owner and aficionado Marsel van der Wielen, Loud By Design Bookings agent and DJ Rachel Rackitt, Spanish Techno DJ Hector Oaks, rising Berlin-based newcomer Supergloss and pioneering British Acid Techno DJ and producer Chris Liberator. Please note that this video is not filmed in real time. It’s edited to create some tension so that you in front of the screen can guess as well. It doesn’t say anything about how fast the participants recognised the track etc. All contestants receive one point for both artist and title correct, but only half a point if they can only guess the artist or the title.
