Hier eine Szene aus Rudolstadt in Thüringen, gefilmt im Sommer 1940, von einem Amateurfilmer aus Bonn. Unten auf dem Marktplatz nimmt die Hitler Jugend Aufstellung, seit 1933 der einzige staatlich anerkannte Jugendverband. Ab 1939 ist der Beitritt für alle Kinder und Jugendlichen Pflicht und z.B. auch Voraussetzung eine Lehrstelle zu bekommen. Die Dienstpflicht wurde in der Regel Samstags absolviert. Since the dictarship is establieshed in 1933, the HJ is the only youth association approved by the state.
